Overview: Hoe word je van een vluchteling een burger? En welke reis leg je dan af? Kiza Magendane, die vluchtte uit Congo naar Nederland, neemt je mee op de reis die hij aflegde. Hij komt tot de conclusie dat niet alle bewoners van het huis Nederland aan tafel mogen zitten – de plek waar de beslissingen worden gemaakt. Om tot een rechtvaardiger samenleving te komen stelt Magendane daarom voor om met Nederland in therapie te gaan. Als nieuwkomer is hij immers als geen ander in staat zich in een nieuw huis aan te passen. Deze kennis wil hij graag met alle bewoners van het huis Nederland delen.

It was just alright. The pacing was a bit slow and I found myself skimming a few pages. It wasn't terrible, just okay. Just right down the middle.

An average read for me. The writing was fine, but I didn't feel very connected to the characters. They felt a bit flat. Probably won't read it again, but it was an okay way to pass the time.
