Overview: Zu Beginn der Saison 1997/98 bekommt der VfB Stuttgart im Europapokal der Pokalsieger IB Vestmannaeyjar zugelost. Dieser Gegner hinterlässt im Schwabenland zunächst ratlose Gesichter. Ein Blick ins Lexikon hilft in der Vor-Google-Zeit auf die Sprünge: Der Club stammt von den Westmännerinseln, einem kleinen Archipel südlich der isländischen Küste.Weil das dortige Stadion die Sicherheitsanforderungen nicht erfüllt, wird die Erstrunden-Begegnung in die Hauptstadt Reykjavik verlegt. Finished it in a couple of days. The author did a great job wrapping everything up at the end. No weird plot holes left behind. Will be looking for more from this author.
