Overview: After his daughter's rapist is not convicted due to a lack of evidence, Harold dedicates his nights reading articles and searching the internet for methods he could have taken to prevent the life-altering event, how to recover and heal, and then how to move on. His efforts lead to nothing, except, one website promising to turn injustice to justice. The website scratches at the back of his mind during the day, and every night he returns to it, hung on the words. Expecting legal assistance, he messages the website with information about his daughter rapist. Now two detectives are at his house to inform Harold that her attacker is dead. Harold is unable to hide the fear in his eyes, fear that the website might have had something to with it, but with the verbal misstep of one of the detectives, Harold says nothing. The fear turns to intrigue as he contemplates the death. To test his theory, he begins messaging the website with random names pulled from online sex offender websites, then his intrigue turns to delusions of a grandiose nature. The FBI is now investigating a series of deaths disguised as suicides. Quinn, severely distraught over his fianc�'s sudden suicide, becomes obsessed over discovering what really happened to her. As the killer becomes more honed in his methods, he decides to throw the FBI off, he allows one of his intended victims to live, and he wants the world to see why he is necessary. Agent Portokall, young but experienced, is the lead in the search for the serial killer, his usual successful methods of investigation produce no results. Making things worse the news media received a leaked document from someone inside the FBI divulging classified information about the serial killer. The media sensationalized and dubbed him the Sex Offender Killer, converting many to his side. But when you go into business with a serial killer, you should probably vet them first, and the other way around.

Finished it in a couple of days. I got really invested in the main character's journey. Everything just clicked for me. Worth the time and money.

Pretty good overall. Interesting premise and executed fairly well. Just a few slow chapters here and there. I'd probably recommend it to a friend.
