Din juriu au făcut parte Moni Stănilă, Cosmin Ciotloș și Claudiu Komartin.„Mezină a Zonei noi, Ioana Vintilă a fost în același timp și l’enfant terrible al grupării: primele ei texte, scrise prin clasa a șaptea, aveau tonul întunecat & dur & strălucitor al celor mai afurisite & talentate dintre douămiiste. Apoi, peste vreo doi ani, poemele ei au devenit, cu totul dimpotrivă, reci & curate & de o intensitate aproape psihotică, descriind de pildă saloane de spital ale unor copii bolnavi de progerie. A urmat apoi o convertire la poetici post-beatnice, apoi una la proză, urmată de o revenire la o poezie post-confesivă. Acum, toate pulsiunile scrisului ei stau, pentru întâia oară, în echilibru: e aici și duritatea întunecată a primelor poeme, și acumularea aluvionară de imagini hipnotice, și căutarea febrilă & înspăimântată a teritoriilor post-umane, și o intertextualitate aproape disperată cu poeții suferinței & ai detracării, și obsesia bolii & a dizabilitării. A solid read. The middle dragged a tiny bit, but the ending totally made up for it. I'd probably recommend it to a friend.

Finished it in a couple of days. It has a good balance of dialogue and description. Everything felt like it moved at the right speed. Worth the time and money.

A very satisfying read. The pacing was spot on and the characters felt real. I didn't find myself getting bored at any point. Definitely recommend it if you like this genre.
