Overview: A magyar mint idegen nyelv grammatikája. Elmélet és gyakorlat – A Grammar of Hungarian as a Foreign Language. Theory and Practice című könyv a magyar nyelvtan rendszeres leírása, méghozzá két nyelven, magyarul és angolul. Kötetünket elsősorban a nyelvtanfolyamoknak és tanáraiknak, valamint a magántanulóknak szánjuk. A könyv mind az elméleti, mind a gyakorlati nyelvtani kérdéseknek figyelmet szentel. Az elméletet 132 fejezetben tárgyalja a kötet. A fejezetek végén gyakorlófeladatok találhatóak. Ezek, illetve a tíz ismétlő egység hatékonyan segít elmélyíteni a tanulók ismereteit, miközben nyelvi készségeiket is fejleszti. A bőséges példákkal megtámogatott elméleti részek következetesen kétnyelvűek, nagyban megkönnyítve az elmélet megértését a nem magyar anyanyelvű nyelvtanulók számára. Theory and Practice is a comprehensive description of Hungarian grammar, in two languages: English and Hungarian. The present book is mainly intended for language courses and language teachers as well as for self-study. This book is devoted to both theoretical and practical grammatical problems. The exercises following each of the 132 theoretical sections as well as the 10 revision units effectively consolidate learners’ knowledge while also developing students’ linguistic skills. The theoretical sections with copious examples are consistently bilingual, facilitating the understanding of the theory for foreign language learners. The vast majority of the teaching material provided (in the book) is primarily designed for practical application. The many interesting reading passages among the exercises not only help practise the grammatical areas but also enhance learners’ vocabulary. Honestly one of the better books I've read lately. The writing style is very engaging. It’s easy to follow but still has a lot of depth. Definitely recommend it if you like this genre.
