Overview: A ranch owner in Texas Hill Country, a horse trainer, and a romance for the ages... Pretty good overall. Interesting premise and executed fairly well. Just a few slow chapters here and there. Still a good book.

It was okay. The writing was fine, but I didn't feel very connected to the characters. They felt a bit flat. A generous 3 stars.

Finished it in a couple of days. The writing style is very engaging. It’s easy to follow but still has a lot of depth. Will be looking for more from this author.
