Overview: Yakın zamanlarda Osmanlılıktan Türklüğe, şimdiler de ise Türklükten Türk vatandaşlığına geçmeye çalıştığımız, esasen birkaç yüzyıllık kültür değişmelerinin fırtına sonu parçalanmışlığını ve perişanlığını yaşadığımız 21. Yüzyılın ilk kertesinde de, klasik paradigmanın baskısıyla dedem Sokrates?in "kendini bil!" emrine nispetle yöneltilen "ben kimim?" sualine hâlâ tat-minkâr bir cevap verilememiş görünüyor. Sokrates?ten 2500 yıl sonrasında da öneminden ve kudretinden pek bir şey kaybet-memiş olan bu suali, küreselleştirilen dünyanın iniş çıkışlarında yuvarlanırken çaresizliğin sürüklediği bir duygusallığın baskı-sıyla, varlığını ancak diğerlerini ötekileştirerek fark ettirme ve koruma telaşına düşen bir güruha nispetle çoğullaştırarak tevcih edeceğim. Ve geçmişini bilen için şöyle sesleneceğim: "Biz kimdik?" Dününü unutan bilmeze ise hitabım şöyle olacak: "Biz kimiz? Sahi kimiz biz; Osman oğullarından kalma Müslüman mı-yız, Türk müyüz; yoksa Müslüman-Türk müyüz? Bu tür sualler son on yıllarda sıkça yöneltilirdi, lâkin bugünlerde demode olmuş görünüyorlar. O zaman bu sualleri şimdilerin jargonuna uydurarak şu şekilde yeniden soralım: Sahi şu biz eski Türkler, yenilerde; Türk vatandaşı mıyız, Türkiye vatandaşı mıyız, yoksa "küreselci? Müslüman mıyız? Masum suallerime verilecek muhtemel cevaplar, büyük tartışmalara kapı aralayabilir. Aralamalıdır da. Zira yakın tarihimizi çözümlemek isteyen pek çok sosyal bilimcinin üzerinde durduğu ve durması gerektiği ikircikliliğin hasbıhâlini ister bu sualler. Ben de böylesi bir tecessüsle, sonuç getirme ihtimali düşük tartışmaları mümkün olduğunca öteleyerek, dünlerde yeterince, bugünlerde gereğinden fazla değersizleştirilen birkaç değerin izinden giderek, belki de kaçınılamayan kültürel değiş-melere muâfık parçalan "ben?ler arasında kaybolan "bizi? araya-cağım. Arzum, kesinlikle olgulara bağlı görünen çözümleyici ya da inşa edici fikirlere tutunarak salt akademik bir nümayişin içinde kaybolmak değil. Bu nedenle gönül telinin titrek nağmeleriyle bestelenen semi-akademik bir duygusallığın körüklediği serzeniş düşünceler arasında gidip geleceğim. Kayıp medeniyet: Anadolu Anadolu, çilekeş Türk insanının yurdu… Sen ki, seni var eden ve yaşatan kimliğini ve değerlerini seyirci bakışlara kapa-tan muhafazakâr… Modern bilimim ve çağdaş sanatın gönül telini titretmeyen metotlarıyla keşfedilemeyen muamma… Muazzam bir maziye sahip olan Türk?e yurt olmakla Türk kültürü-nü İslamî değerlerle buluşturan, Anadolu?da ve Rumeli?de ka-zanılan bilgi ve tecrübe ile taçlanan medeniyet… Türk?ün millî karakterinde müşahhaslaşan değer… Yazık! Devler yolunu kesti… Kirli eller ümüğünde… Ölüyorsun… Öldürülüyorsun… Küreselleşiyorsun, küreselleştiriliyorsun… Küreselleşme, son yıllarda Türkiye?de de dillere pelesenk edilen, amma velâkin "ne? olduğu çok da açık olmayan küreselleştirilen dünyanın önünde duran kaygan ve yuvarlak bir kavram. Öyle ki, kimine göre, kaçınılması mümkün olmayan değişime müsavi olgusal bir durum; kimine göre, ilerlemeleri ve gelişmeleri karşılıklı olarak etkileyen ve yönlendiren modern bir değer… İster olgusal bir zorunluluk, ister kuşatıcı bir plan-lama olsun, bence, bugün içinde var olmaya çalıştığımız dünya-da kerhen karşılaşmak zorunda kaldığımız bir gerçeklik küresel-leşme ve küreselleştirme. Bu yapıda sıkıntı doğuran nokta, belki de doğal bir olgu olan değişime müsâvî küreselleşen dünyadan çok öte; kültürel, siyasî, ekonomik açmazların girdabında küre-selleştirilen ve tüketilen değerler. Zira bugünün dünyasında etkin olanlar, küreselcilerden daha çok, küreselliğe tutunan küreselleştiriciler. Küreselleştiricinin küreselci ayakları önce kültürler arasın-da çatışmalar yaratıyor. Daha sonra da yerleşik algıya muhalif, değerler kutsiyetinden arındırılıyor. Bu ise çoğulculuk, kültürel farklara saygı, farklılıkların korunması, çağdaşlık, evrensellik gibi, alengirli laflarla sunuluyor. Lakin varılan nokta, nedense vaad edilenin aksi oluyor hep. Öyle ki, küreselleştiricinin par-mak attığı her toplumda, değerler tersyüz oluyor; mesela huzur için varolan din huzursuzluk kaynağına, güven için varolan aile, toplum, millet güvensizlik membaına dönüyor. Hemen ardından da, usta manevralarla küçülen dünya âdeta özelde Amerika genelde ise Batı kültürünün hâkimiyetine sokuluyor. Bu süreçte ekonomik güç, yönlendirici; siyasal yaptırımlar, tahripkâr oluyor. Yavaş yavaş yenidünya düzeni masalıyla eskidünya hedeflenen doğrultuda yeniden inşa ediliyor. Ya son nokta? Ulus devletlerin tek düze bir "Amerikan-Avrupanizme? dönüştürülmesi… Türkiye de nice zamandır bu çarkın dişlileri arasında… Mütemadiyen çok yönlü dönen çark, her devirde Türk insanını ayakta tutan birkaç değeri, değersizleştiriyor. Küreselleştirici tiyniyet için ise her türlü dışsal değer metadan öte bir anlam taşımıyor. Sadece tek yönlü çıkar hesapları önemseniyor. Bu nedenle de değerlerin küreselleştirici lehinde harcanmasında herhangi bir sakınca görülmüyor… Küreselleştiricinin önünde savrulan Türkiye...
