Overview: Immanuel Kant was a German philosopher. He argued that fundamental concepts structure human experience, and that reason is the source of morality. His thoughts today continue to have a major influence on fields such as metaphysics, epistemology, ethics, political philosophy, and aesthetics. Kant's major work, the Critique of Pure Reason (Kritik der reinen Vernunft, 1781), tries to explain the relationship between reason and human experience. The work was Kant’s attempt at putting an end to what he considered an era of futile and speculative theories of human experience. Kant published several other important works on ethics, religion, law, aesthetics, astronomy, and history. These include the Critique of Practical Reason (Kritik der praktischen Vernunft, 1788), Groundwork of the Metaphysic of Morals (Grundlegung zur Metaphysik der Sitten, 1785), which deals with ethics, and the Critique of Judgment (Kritik der Urteilskraft, 1790), which looks at aesthetics and teleology. An average read for me. It felt a bit repetitive in the middle. Could have been shorter. Might work better for someone else, just wasn't completely for me.

Finished it in a couple of days. The author did a great job wrapping everything up at the end. No weird plot holes left behind. Glad I picked this up.

Finished it in a couple of days. I got really invested in the main character's journey. Everything just clicked for me. Definitely recommend it if you like this genre.

Took me a few chapters to get into it, but it was worth it. Interesting premise and executed fairly well. Just a few slow chapters here and there. Not bad at all.
