Ta on õpetanud filosoofiat paljudes Eesti ülikoolides ning tema peamised uurimisteemad on keerukus, ajalisus, kehastumus ning võrdlev filosoofia. Aastatel 2015–2018 ilmus temalt kuueköiteline teos „Väekirjad“, aastal 2024 kaks ingliskeelset teost: „Embodiment Theory and Chinese Philosophy“ ja „Resonances of Neo-Confucianism“. Ott on tõlkinud eesti keelde mitmeid mõtlejaid: Gilles Deleuze, Zhuāngzi, Baruch Spinoza, Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz, Henri Bergson ja François Jullien. Samuti on ta avaldanud antoloogia hiina vaimulugemis- ja muusikapärimuse tekstide tõlgetega („Muusika ja muundus“).

Really enjoyed this one. The pacing was spot on and the characters felt real. I didn't find myself getting bored at any point. Definitely recommend it if you like this genre.

Pretty good overall. Interesting premise and executed fairly well. Just a few slow chapters here and there. I'd probably recommend it to a friend.

I was pleasantly surprised. It has a good balance of dialogue and description. Everything felt like it moved at the right speed. A solid 5/5 for me.

A very satisfying read. I got really invested in the main character's journey. Everything just clicked for me. Will be looking for more from this author.
