U njemu se tvrdi da to delo priprema jedno društvo ljudi od pera, par une société de gens de lettres; kada se pojavio prvi tom, 28. juna 1751, na njegovoj naslovnoj strani tvrdilo se isto. Šta je ovo društvo ljudi od pera? Da li ono odgovara partiji philosophes?- Robert Šaklton*Fransoaz Vake (1950), francuska je istoričarka, paleograf i arhivista. Nakon završenih studija na Liceju u Perpinjanu, visoko obrazovanje započinje na Univerzitetu u Monpeljeu, zatim na Univerzitetu Toulouse-Jean-Jaurès, a potom, obrazovanje stiče na École nationale des chartes. Direktor je istraživačkog centra u CNRS-u. Godine 2017. odlikovana je Nacionalnim ordenom Legije časti u rangu viteza. Godine 1999. dobila je Nagradu „Augustin-Thierry“, zatim, 2003. uručena joj je srebrna medalja CNRS-a, 2011. dodeljena joj je Nagrada „Biguet“, a 2020. godine Nagrada „Madeleine-Laurain-Portemer“ (Académie des sciences morales et politiques). It was just alright. It had some good moments, but the overall plot felt a bit disjointed in the second half. Probably won't read it again, but it was an okay way to pass the time.

Took me a few chapters to get into it, but it was worth it. Writing is good, just wish there was a bit more depth in certain parts. Still kept my attention though. Not bad at all.
