Overview: Mindy moves from the city to her grandma’s farmhouse while coping with grandma’s recent passing. Mindy is surprised to find her new school located in an abandoned motel. It was okay. The writing was fine, but I didn't feel very connected to the characters. They felt a bit flat. Probably won't read it again, but it was an okay way to pass the time.
