Queste sono alcune delle domande che ho scritto nel mio quaderno di appunti nel lungo percorso di ideazione di “Libro città aperta. 5 tesi per le biblioteche del futuro”, il convegno organizzato da Fondazione Mondadori che si è tenuto a Milano il 26 settembre 2023 e da cui questo libro nasce. È qui che esperti di architettura e urbanistica, management culturale, innovazione sociale, comunicazione, economia hanno dialogato con esperti di lettura, di editoria e anche, ma non solo, di biblioteconomia e di biblioteche. La riflessione corale che proponiamo parte dal convegno e si spinge oltre, con l’obiettivo di ridiscutere il senso delle biblioteche in un momento in cui è chiaro a tutti che esse possono sopravvivere, rischiando di non essere più minimamente influenti, oppure provare a reinventarsi, perfino ridefinendo la propria influenza.

Chiara Faggiolani writes contemporary fiction and has always been fascinated by character-driven stories. They hold a degree in English Literature and previously worked as an editor before transitioning to writing their own books. Chiara Faggiolani lives with their spouse and a very vocal rescue cat.
Pretty good overall. Writing is good, just wish there was a bit more depth in certain parts. Still kept my attention though. Still a good book.

Such a great read. The writing style is very engaging. It’s easy to follow but still has a lot of depth. Would probably read it again at some point.

Glad someone recommended this to me. The pacing was spot on and the characters felt real. I didn't find myself getting bored at any point. Worth the time and money.

Pretty good overall. Writing is good, just wish there was a bit more depth in certain parts. Still kept my attention though. A solid 4 stars from me.

I was pleasantly surprised. I got really invested in the main character's journey. Everything just clicked for me. Glad I picked this up.
