Overview: For every letter of the Qur’an that a Muslim recites, he or she is rewarded ten times over. This immense reward for such a seemingly simple task emphasizes the importance of learning how to recite the Qur’an. Tajweed Rules for Qur’anic Recitation aims to give the reader the necessary tools to properly recite the Qur’an according to the manner in which the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) recited it.To set the stage for learning the proper Qur’anic recitation, or tajweed, the history of the Qur’an is briefly discussed from its revelation to its compilation. It was just alright. The writing was fine, but I didn't feel very connected to the characters. They felt a bit flat. Probably won't read it again, but it was an okay way to pass the time.

Honestly one of the better books I've read lately. It has a good balance of dialogue and description. Everything felt like it moved at the right speed. Definitely recommend it if you like this genre.

Good, but not quite perfect. I liked the main character, though some of the side plots were just okay. Not bad at all.
