Paris VIII ve Paris X Üniversiteleri’nde sosyoloji öğrenimi ve sendikacılık deneyiminin ardından, lisansını İstanbul Ünv. Antropoloji ve Etnoloji Bölümü’nde tamamladı. Uzun süre yayıncılık ve çevirmenlik yaptıktan sonra, lisansüstü öğrenimi için girdiği Hacettepe Ünv. Antropoloji Bölümü’nde araştırma görevlisi olarak çalışmaya başladı (1995). Doktorasını 2000’de tamamladı; 2005’de doçentlik unvanını aldı. 2010’da Hacettepe Üniversitesi’ndeki görevinden istifa etti. Özbudun halen Yeditepe Ünv. Antropoloji Bölümü ve Ankara Ünv. Latin Amerika Araştırmaları Enstitüsü’nde lisansüstü dersleri vermektedir. İngilizce, Fransızca ve orta düzeyde İspanyolca bilen Özbudun’un çok sayıda yayımlanmış telif veçeviri eseri bulunmaktadır.

Finished it in a couple of days. The author did a great job wrapping everything up at the end. No weird plot holes left behind. A solid 5/5 for me.

It was okay. The pacing was a bit slow and I found myself skimming a few pages. It wasn't terrible, just okay. It's fine if you have nothing else to read.
