Overview: FBI agent Ford "Mac" MacDougal is recovering from injuries he received in a terrorist car bombing when his sister, Jilly, a medical researcher, drives her Porsche off an Oregon cliff - on purpose, it seems. Curiously, even though he was in a hospital bed on the other side of the country, Mac feels as if he were in the car with her as she sails towards the sea.By the time Mac arrives in Portland, Jilly has come out of the coma she's been in for four days. Good, but not quite perfect. It held my attention, even if a few things were a little predictable. A solid 4 stars from me.

Glad someone recommended this to me. The pacing was spot on and the characters felt real. I didn't find myself getting bored at any point. A solid 5/5 for me.

A very satisfying read. I got really invested in the main character's journey. Everything just clicked for me. Definitely recommend it if you like this genre.

Honestly one of the better books I've read lately. The author did a great job wrapping everything up at the end. No weird plot holes left behind. A solid 5/5 for me.

Not bad, but not my favorite. It had some good moments, but the overall plot felt a bit disjointed in the second half. A generous 3 stars.
