Il pouse Charlotte Marie Jacquier le 23 janvier 1971, avec qui il a trois enfants. Appel par Pierre Mazeaud, il entre dans la vie politique en 1989. Il est alors lu maire d'Annecy-le-Vieux en Haute-Savoie, o il possde un garage, en battant le dput UDF et maire sortant Jean Brocard. En mars 1992 il est lu conseiller gnral de Haute-Savoie pour le canton d'Annecy-le-Vieux, et le reste jusqu'en 1998. En mars 1993, il est lu dput RPR de la 1 circonscription de Haute-Savoie, savoir le nord d'Annecy et les communes environnantes dont Annecy-le-Vieux. Took me a few chapters to get into it, but it was worth it. Writing is good, just wish there was a bit more depth in certain parts. Still kept my attention though. Enjoyable weekend read.

A very satisfying read. It has a good balance of dialogue and description. Everything felt like it moved at the right speed. Would probably read it again at some point.
