Overview: Sein Name und seine Abstammung Er war der Imam, der Muhaddith, der Faqih, der Hafidh, der edle Gelehrte, Abu Dscha'far Ahmad Ibn Muhammad Ibn Salama Ibn Salama 'Abdul-Malik Ibn Salama al-Azdi at-Tahawi. Seine Lehrer waren viele, ebenso seine Schüler. Nach jeder Erweiterung seines Horizonts fand er sich inmitten von Fiqh- Angelegenheiten, bei denen er nicht weiterkam. Er fand auch bei seinem Onkel keine ausreichenden Antworten, die sein Durcheinander in diesen Angelegenheiten lindern konnten. Daher begann er zu erforschen, was sein Onkel tun würde, wenn er solchen widersprüchlichen Meinungen begegnete. Sein Onkel bezog sich oft auf Bücher der Freunde Abu Hanifas (d.h. Hanafis), und er bevorzugte viele Meinungen Abu Hanifas in diesen Angelegenheiten. Diese bevorzugten Meinungen wurden in seinem Buch "Mukhtasar al-Muzni" verzeichnet.

I was pleasantly surprised. It has a good balance of dialogue and description. Everything felt like it moved at the right speed. Will be looking for more from this author.

I have mixed feelings about this one. The writing was fine, but I didn't feel very connected to the characters. They felt a bit flat. Probably won't read it again, but it was an okay way to pass the time.
