Overview: Le genre dans la littérature égyptienne ancienne et le portrait des femmes est un sujet intrigant qui est abordé dans ce livre pour tenter d'identifier les racines du stéréotype constant des rôles féminins dans notre société actuelle. Le livre est divisé en deux parties : La première partie se concentre sur une sélection de récits de la littérature de l'Égypte ancienne et comprend cinq chapitres. An average read for me. The pacing was a bit slow and I found myself skimming a few pages. It wasn't terrible, just okay. Probably won't read it again, but it was an okay way to pass the time.
